The Corkscrew

THE CORKSCREW Inventor: Samuel Henshall invented the corkscrew.

Year: he invented it in 1795.

Advantages:

-You can screw corks now, before, it was hard to open bottles.

-Before the corkscrew was invented, people occasionally

used corks to keep dust off their beverages, but the cork was not inside all the way because they would not be able to take it out.

Disadvantages:

-It is dangerous for children.

-It may be difficult to pull out.
